A Season To Remember!

We're coming to the final stages of our season which has been a personal best by a long way!! The winning run continued for ANMAAT in France on Arc weekend. The ground was very soft which he handled but I don't think he was totally in love with it! It was sheer guts which got his head in front on the line because he looked to be beat a furlong down when the runner up came to challenge! He has been amazing this season from winning the John Smith's off a mark of 103 back in July to finishing unbeaten off 118 after winning a Group 2 & 3! The obvious aim for next year is to make him a Group 1 winner!

ALFLAILA has also been a revelation this season, his recent win at Newmarket in The Darley Stakes, Group 3 was a really good performance as he gave them a 4-5 length head start! It was very difficult to make ground up that day so he done very well to win, add in his 3lb penalty for his previous Group 3 win, it was a smart effort! He may be on his travels now as we have accepted an invitation to run in The Bahrain Trophy on 18th November which is exciting!

HELLO DEIRA is another who has won his last 2, I thought it was a very strong performance last time at Kempton as he was very keen and stepping up to a mile had me worried watching it from up at Tattersalls but he was strong at the end & won going away! He will head to the Horses in Training sale now where I'm sure he'll prove very popular to perspective buyers from all around the world!

We managed to purchase a lovely Zoustar colt from Book 1 at Tatts & a nice Zoffany colt from Book 2 also, again it was tough going as the trade was extremely strong!! They are in the process of being broken in so should be in with us shortly.

We have a few 2-year-olds to run still so we'll be busy enough over the next 4-6 weeks and the big autumn steam clean has started where I like to give every stable a good disinfecting before the new horses arrive. We are currently on 22 winners for the season (2 abroad) which is equalling last years total from far less horses. We have smashed the 1-million-pound prize money won if you include our 2 winners abroad so it's been a wonderful effort from all my team at home! A massive thank you to them as I couldn't do it without them.
